It’s not often that I have the time to make something other than oatmeal for breakfast! Since I didn’t have work Sunday morning I decided to make some chocolate pancakes and they were such a treat 😍🍫 This recipe makes around 8 pancakes and feeds 2! Or 1, if you’re feeling hungry 😏
I used tropeaka Cacao powder in this recipe for a rich chocolatey flavour 🤤 Feel free to use ‘TESSA12’ for $$ off your first tropeaka purchase!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1-2 tbsp tropeaka cacao power
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup oat milk
1 tbsp maple syrup*
Dash salt
1️⃣. Preheat large frypan over medium heat. Add dry ingredients to medium bowl and mix together. Add remaining ingredients and whisk together until combined.
2️⃣. Add some butter to pan and melt. Add around 2 tbsp mixture into pan to form one pancake. Repeat until all mixture is used.
3️⃣. Cook for 2-3 minutes each side or until golden.
4️⃣. Serve with your favourite toppings! I used berries and maple syrup + Choc sauce 🤍
*I’m not a big fan of overly sweet food so if you like sweet pancakes add some extra maple syrup 😉
